Silo Unloaders

Ideal for big diameter silos. The drive ring’s large diameter, along with wall-to-wall suspension arms, guarantees perfect equilibrium of the machine without counter weight that needs to be adjusted every now and then to match silage conditions. Made of 3/16” thick steel, the ring segments features a 11’ diameter on 20’ and 22’ silos; 15’ on 24’ silos and 19’ on 26’ and 30’ silos.

Designed for high volume in any type of silage. Assures uniform distribution for greater compaction from wall to wall. Forage blown into the center of the silo is uniformly distributed and compacted by the 16-inch auger. During unloading operations, the auger cuts and sweeps away from the silo wall, where feed flows freely onto the double chain conveyor below. Very high rates of both, loading and unloading, makes your forage operations much more efficient.

Equipped with a 6’ heavy-duty drive ring, heavy channel frame and dual augers. The Hanson Enduro 28″ Blower features: 1 3/8″ Adjustable Pillow Block Bearings (Allows easy adjustment of tip clearance), large cast iron paddles, a 28″ diameter housing for maximum blowing capacity, 1/4″ AR Plate backwrapper and removable top cover. 24″ Turbo Blower uses a stainless steel backwrap. An excellent blower in many conditions.

Hanson’s original unloader, the TwinTrac is proven to provide many years of dependable service. Its simple, clean design is propelled by two heavy, cast drive hubs. Dual augers rotate in opposite directions to quickly chop silage for fast, efficient unloading in all conditions. Differential-Drive Transmission Gears are made of special manganese bronze for long-lasting, performance to handle frozen, hard-packed silage.

Unsurpassed for free-flowing and semi-free flowing. Overload protection for the sweep auger. Unique ratchet mechanism drives the drive shaft. Spring-loaded ratchet pawl idles if the sweep auger meets an impasse. Exit auger closing is easy to operate and requires only minimal opening clearance for more room beneath the unloader for conveyors and auxiliary equipment. Powered by a 3 H.P. motor. Comes with different sized pulley sets to change auger unloading speed by simply flipping the drive belt.

Ideal for small diameter silos. Features support by three widely spaced points which results in a level cut from top to bottom. Unloader has offset suspension arms in unloading mode and straight arms during loading mode. Heavy-duty 10” auger is made of ¼” thick flighting welded on a 4” O.D. tube for rigidity. Double-flighted at the chipper wheel to allow the machine to run smoothly in frozen and hard-packed silage.

The Hanson Silage Blower is used to fill your silo. We offer two models: the 540 rpm and the 1000 rpm PTO speed. Independent adjustable wheels for easy installation and transport. The shearbolt is easily accessible thanks to the hinged safety guard with incorporated spare shearbolt holder. All drive mechanisms can be easily reached thanks to hinged protection doors. The feed auger has a 2” diameter shaft mounted on two cast iron flanged ball bearings.
