PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hanson Silo Company is looking for people to work in the plant in the powder coating department:

• Hang and remove parts on and off the conveyor line
• Operate spray paint guns to apply powder to unpainted parts
• Clean the paint booth
• Package label and palletize parts for shipping
• Other duties as needed or required

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
This position will report to the Powder Coat Paint Supervisor, Jeff Adkins

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
This role will not directly supervise, but will work in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 100lbs
• Long periods of standing
• Ability to learn quickly
• Attention to detail and quality

Preferred:

• Comfortable around a construction site
• Forklift experience/certification a plus

We’re in need of hardworking candidates to join our fast-paced powder coating department. Full-time openings currently available on 1st and 2nd shift. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 40 hours with overtime almost every week.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travel with a crew to customers sites to erect modular precast bunker modular panels
• Operate boom truck
• Clean the paint booth
• Unload precast bunker panels from truck
• Other duties as needed or required

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
This position will report to the Concrete Superintendent

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
This role does not supervise others but works in a team and represents Hanson Silo Company to our customers

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be available for overnight travel within and outside of Minnesota
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• This position will represent Hanson Silo Company to our customers so customer service orientation and skills are a must
• Must have a valid MN Class D driver’s license
• Forklift experience required

Preferred:

• Some concrete experience preferred (can be learned)
• Comfortable around a construction site

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lay out, secure, and position parts
• Assemble according to the requirements of the assignment using a combination of straight edge and square rulers
• Weld the assemblies and components using arc, electric gas, and other relevant equipment

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• At least one year of welding experience OR a welding certificate
• Must pass a welding test
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift

BEGINNERS WELCOME:
If you are a beginning welder or want to learn, we can start you in our rebar department, train you, and as you hone your craft you can move through the ranks.

PAY:
Competitive pay, starting wage depends on experience. (Note: Range for new hire is $17-20)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essence of this role is to produce custom fabricated assembly and products by following blue prints, bill of materials and following work instructions. The fabricator must have the ability to accurately setup and operate a wide variety of hand tools, fixtures, and fabrication equipment as to complete work. Main duties include bending and crimping metal and some occasional drilling.

Read work orders, cut lists and/or blueprints to select type and size of metal stock and determine dimensions and tolerances. Install blade on machine using hand tools. Set controls to adjust speed, feed rate, and blade tensions. Position guides, stops, holding blocks, or other fixtures to secure and direct workpiece, using hand tools and measuring devices. Verify dimensions of finished workpiece, using measuring devices. May also assist in other fabrication operations such as drilling and bending.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Understand math and use fluently.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to read and use tape measure and other measuring tools accurately.
• Read blueprints and drawing papers to ensure accurate part production.
• Use overhead crane and forklift.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to read, follow detailed instructions and understand English.
• Must understand and follow the safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with other departments.
• Good attendance is a must. Tardiness and/or absence will not be tolerated.

JOB TYPE:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure operation of vehicles by completing repairs, service, and preventive maintenance
• Check and maintain production machinery and tools
• Repair broken equipment as received
• Fix and maintain building systems such as A/C, heat, and pumps
• Order parts needed to complete repairs

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Previous mechanic experience or vocational training equivalent strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of industrial equipment, tools and materials
• Able to stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift
• Able to work independently and adapt to different projects and tasks throughout the day
